Yafes calls for resisting ill efforts of BNP

DHAKA, May 19, 2017 (BSS) - Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafes Osman today urged all to prevent ill efforts of BNP-Jamaat for continuing development process in the country.

BNP is misguiding the people in the name of "Vision 2030" as the party has resorted to conspiracy to undermine development efforts of the country, he told a discussion on "Foreign policy of Bangladesh and India-Bangladesh relations" at the CIRDAP auditorium here.

Bangabandhu Parishad organized the discussion.

Vice chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, director general of International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) Prof Dr Zinnat Imtiaz Ali, vice chancellor of Khulna University Prof Dr Md Fayequzzaman and former ambassador Atiqur Rahman, among others, addressed the discussion with general secretary of Bangabandhu Parishad Dr SA Maleq in the chair.

Yafes said, "Relations between Bangladesh and India are better than any time in the past. Both two countries should maintain friendly relations for ensuring further progress."
