Repairing of 800-damaged BTCL numbers in Gulshan soon

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2017 (BSS) - Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) is working to restore the 800 telephone numbers under Gulshan Exchange that damaged by fire on September 11.

The company has started the work of replacing the damaged cabinet for the connection, said a BTCL press release today.

BTCL is expecting to restore the connection within 10/12 days.

Besides, 72 telephone connections under Gazipur Exchange are remained out of order due to snatch of underground cable.

BTRC is working to restore those connections also as soon as possible.

The authority regretted to its valued customers for the unexpected inconvenience, the release added.
