PM condoles death of UZ chairman Ohid Ullah Jasim

DHAKA, Jan 2, 2018 (BSS) - Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock at the death of Ohid Ullah Jasim, chairman of Tajumuddin Upazila in Bhola and former Upazila AL general secretary.

In a condolence message, she prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Jasim passed away while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on December 31 at the age of 50.

He is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock at the death of Jasim.
