Nurul Islam mourns deaths of Bangladeshi workers in Saudi road crash

DHAKA, Jan 8, 2018 (BSS) - Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc today expressed profound shock at the deaths of 10 Bangladeshi workers in a road mishap at Jizan province in Saudi Arabia.

In a condolence message, the minister recalled the contributions of the migrant workers to the country's economy and said, "I am deeply shocked at the deaths of 10 Bangladeshi workers on the way to their work places".

Nurul Islam prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families' members.

The accident took place when a vehicle hit a truck, carrying Bangladeshis to their workplace, from behind at 7 am on January 6.
