SC clears way to hold recruitment test of 3 banks

DHAKA, Jan 11, 2018 (BSS) - The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) today stayed a High Court order that had gave order to stop holding recruitment test of three state-owned banks Sonali, Rupali and Janata.

Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain of Appellate Division Chamber Judge court passed the order after holding hearing on a plea filed by Bangladesh Bank against the High Court order.

"Now there is no legal bar on holding the integrated recruitment test of the three banks on January 12," Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said.

The High Court on January 7 ordered to stop holding the test for recruiting senior officer, officer (general) and officer (cash) in the three aforesaid banks.
