COMILLA, Jan 13, 2018 (BSS) - The rail services on Dhaka-Chittagong routes have resumed six hours after a collision between a DEMU train and a truck at Panusua in Sadar upazila here.
The train services resumed around 3:30 pm after recovery operations were completed said Comilla Rail Station officials.
A relief train from Akhaura took part in the recovery efforts, they added.
Earlier, the rail communications between Dhaka and Chittagong was cut off at 9.30 am when a Comilla-bound train from Akhaura collided with a sand-laden truck in Sadar Upazila's Banashua area.
