JS body suggests modernizing Defence Services Command and Staff College

DHAKA, Aug 7, 2017 (BSS) -Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Defence Ministry today underscored the need for modernising Defence Services Command and Staff College.

The committee made the recommendation at a meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman Subid Ali Bhuiyan in the chair, an official release said.

Members of the committee-Md Mahbubur Rahman and Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury- also attended the meeting.

The committee recommended solving various problems of the college, including manpower shortage, inadequate accommodation facilities for students and officials, at the quickest time.

During the meeting, representatives of the college apprised the committee of short, mid and long-term planning of the college alongside highlighting its present situation.
