Youths to work for country imbued with ideology of Bangabandhu: DU VC

DHAKA, Sept 12, 2017 (BSS) - The newly-appointed Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman today urged the young generations to work for the welfare of the country imbued with the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

"Young generations should work for the welfare of the country following the path of Bangabandhu and taking lesson from his life and works," he said while addressing a prize-giving ceremony at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on the campus.

DU Fine Arts Faculty organised a drawing competition marking the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu.

Fine Art Faculty Dean Professor Nisar Hossain presided over the function participated by teachers, competitors and guardians.
