Weather likely dry

DHAKA, Jan 02, 2017 (BSS) - Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country having chances of drizzle at one or two places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and adjoining area and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during mid night till morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Meteorological Department press release added that trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay extending its trough to the Northeast Bay.

The sun sets at 05:23pm today and rises at 06-42am tomorrow at Dhaka.

The lowest temperature of today was recorded 10.5 degree Celsius at Tetulia and the highest temperature was recorded 30.4 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
