Temperature likely to fall at night

DHAKA, Jan 7, 2017 (BSS) - The low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining area persists. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Mild cold wave is likely to sweep over Rangpur division.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during mid night till morning.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The sun sets at 05:27pm today and rises at 06:43am tomorrow in the capital.

The lowest temperature of today was recorded 8.1 degree Celsius at Tetulia and the highest temperature of yesterday (Friday) was recorded 28 degree Celsius at Cox's Bazar.
