Temperature rise likely at night

DHAKA, Jan 9, 2017 (BSS) - The low over the South Andaman Sea and
adjoining area persists. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during mid night till morning.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the area of Srimangal, Dinajpur, Dimla, Rajarhat and Tatulia.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 05-29pm and rises at 06-43am tomorrow at Dhaka. The lowest temperature of today (Monday) was recorded 07.2 degree Celsius at Tetulia and the highest temperature of yesterday (Sunday) was recorded 29.2 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
