Moderate fog likely

DHAKA, Jan 10, 2017 (BSS)-Trough of westerly low lies over the Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area.

The low over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining area persists. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area.

Light rain and drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Jessore and Kushtia.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning.

The lowest temperature of today was recorded 10 degree Celsius at Tetulia and the highest temperature of yesterday (Monday) was recorded 29.9 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
