Met office forecast rain or thunder showers likely

DHAKA, April 8, 2017 (BSS) - Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions and the regions of Kushtia, Jessore and Comilla.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," a met office release said here today.

It said day temperature may rise by (1-2) ÝCelsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Country's highest temperature was recorded 36.6 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and lowest temperature was recorded 21.2 degree Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur.

No rainfall was recorded in the country except Sylhet district. Met office recorded at 65mm millimeters (mm) rainfall in the district for the last twenty four hours.

The sunsets at 6.17 pm today and rises at 5.43am am tomorrow in the capital.
