Dry weather likely

DHAKA, April 15, 2017 (BSS) - Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country while mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions and the regions of Jessore and Kushtia, a met office release said here today.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.

Today's highest temperature 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Jessore and the lowest 20.7 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.

The sun sets today at 6.20 pm and rises at 5.37 am tomorrow in the
capital.
