Met office forecasts rain as low lies over North Bay

DHAKA, April 19, 2017 (BSS) - Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places in Bangladesh as the trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh and it extends up to North Bay, said a Met office press release this morning.

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions with hails at isolated places," it reads.

Day temperature may fall by one to two degree Celsius and night
temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 6:22 pm and tomorrow's sunrise would be here at 5:33 am.

The highest temperature was recorded on Tuesday 36.6 degree Celsius at Jessore and Rajshahi while lowest temperature was recorded today 21.5 degree Celsius at Chuadanga, the release added.
