Rain, thundershowers likely

DHAKA, May 18, 2017 (BSS) - Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Khulna and Barisal divisions.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, said a Met office press release here.

Country's highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 37.0 degree Celsius at Satkhira and minimum temperature was recorded 21.2 degree Celsius at Jessore and Kumarkhali respectively in Khulna. The highest rainfall was recorded 51 millimeter at Hatiya in Chittagong.

The sun set at 6.35 pm today and will rise at 5.14 am tomorrow in the capital city Dhaka.
