Met office predicts rain with thundershowers

DHAKA, Aug 13, 2017 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) office today predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind might occur at most places over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions," BMD office said in release here.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The country's highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 32.0 degree Celsius at Bhola in Barisal and today's minimum temperature was recorded 23.0 degree Celsius at Rangamati station in Chittagong.

The sun sets today at 6:34 pm and rises at 5:33 am tomorrow in the capital.
