Light to moderate rain likely

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2017 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

Moreover, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at a few places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, according to a met office release received here today.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was
recorded by 60 millimeters (mm) at Tetulia, the release said. Maximum
temperature was recorded by 36.4 degree Celsius at Jessore on Thursday while the minimum one was recorded today by 22.5 degree Celsius at Rangamati.

The met office, however, predicted that today's sunset at Dhaka will be at 6:10pm and tomorrow's sunrise will be at 5:43am, it added.
