Met office forecasts light to moderate rain

DHAKA, Oct 4, 2017 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at places over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am today," said a met office release here.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.2 degree Celsius at
Tangail and Jessore in Dhaka and Khulna divisions respectively and today's minimum temperature 24.8 degree Celsius at Sayedpur in Rangpur division.

Country's highest rainfall in last twenty-four hours ending at 6 am
today was recorded 28 millimeters (mm) at Sayedpur in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 5:43 pm today and rises at 5:52 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
