Met office predicts dry weather over country

DHAKA, Feb 14, 2018 (BSS) - Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Jessore and Kushtia in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow, according to a met office press release issued here today.

Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night till morning, the release said.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The minimum temperature of the country was recorded today 13.6 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division while the maximum 33.3 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chittagong division yesterday.

The sun sets at 5.53 pm today and rises at 6.32 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
