MOSCOW, May 17, 2017 (BSS/Xinhua) - The death toll has risen to four in a domestic gas blast in the Russian city of Volgograd, local emergency service said on Wednesday.
"The body of the fourth victim has been pulled out from the rubble of a house. According to preliminary information, the victim lived in this house," said the spokesman for the local emergency service. Eleven people were injured.
Firefighters and rescuers have continued working at the site of the accident, he added.
Earlier, an investigator said that two victims were identified. One of them was a gas service employee, and the other was a female resident of the house.
The blast occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the first floor of a four-story brick apartment building.
