Boy killed in road accident in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jan 7, 2017 (BSS) - A 17-year-old boy was killed in a road accident in Medical gate area under Hathazari upazila of the district today.

The victim was identified as Raju Kanti Nath, 17, son of Suman Kanti Nath of Mirarkhil village under the upazila.

Jahangir Alam, Sub-Inspector of Hathazari thana, said the accident occurred when a city-bound passenger bus hit a bicycle, leaving its rider Raju dead on the spot.

Police with the help of locals detained the passenger bus. But its driver and helper managed to scape the scene.

A case filed with Hathazari thana in this connection.
