Development fair will be held in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, January 8, 2017(BSS)- A three-day 'Development Fair' will begin from tomorrow at local Ambica Memorial ground here to inform the grass root people about the successes achieved by the government both nationally and internationally.

At a press conference held this afternoon at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room DC Umme Salma Tanzia informed that the fair is a part of countrywide programme and the Prime Minister through video conference will inaugurate the event at 3 PM tomorrow simultaneously.

The deputy commissioner informed that through the fair ten mega-projects of the Prime Minister will be highlighted.

A total of 80 stalls of government and semi-government departments will be set up at the fair to project various development works and progresses done by the government to achieve the goal of becoming a middle income country by 2021 and a developed one in 2041.
