Two killed in Narail road accident

NARAIL, Jan 12, 2017 (BSS) - Two people, including a six month old child were killed and 15 others injured in a road accident in Moyenkhola area on the Narail-Magura road in Sadar upazila today.

The deceased are Panchanan Kumar Majumder alias Pankaj, 60, of Nalia village and Arafat Hossain of Kalishankarpur village under Lohagora upazila of the district.

Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Delwar Hossain said the accident occurred when a bus fell into a roadside ditch in the area this noon as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving 17 passengers of the vehicle injured.

The injured were sent to Sadar hospital where Pankaj and Arafat succumbed to their injuries.

A case was filed in this connection.
