Four arrested with endangered reptiles in Barguna

BARGUNA, Feb 17, 2017 (BSS) - District police arrested four people with endangered reptiles from Patharghata Upazila in the district today.

The arrested were Harun-ar-Rashid, 52, Kamal, 40, Hassan, 40, and Abdul Latif, 50.

Police said on information they conducted a raid at a house at Nachnapara village under Patharghata Upazila and arrested them with a number of endangered reptiles last night.

The accused were sent to jail today, said Officer-in-Charge of Patharghata Thana Md Nazrul Islam.

A case was filed with concerned Thana under in Forest Act.
