Narsingdi-Karimpur Bridge over Meghna River progressing fast

NARSINGDI, March 20, 2017 (BSS) - The Construction work of the much awaited 630-metre long bridge over Meghna River in Narsingdi is progressing fast.

The bridge is expected to be opened to traffic in June this year.

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is constructing the bridge at a cost of Taka 80.82 crore, executive Engineer of LGED Mohammad Fazla Habib said.

He said 75 percent construction work of the bridge has been completed.

Fazla Habib expects that the rest work of bridge will be finished
within June.
