Champions of Sheikh Kamal Club Football to get US $30,000 as prize money

DHAKA, Feb 17, 2017 (BSS)- The champion team of the second edition Sheikh Kamal Int'l Club Cup Football will receive US $30,000 as prize money while the runners-up will get US $10,000, source BFF online.

There are also awards for best player, best goal scorer and fair play category.

With the second edition of the tournament starting from tomorrow (Saturday) in Chittagong, the organizers have taken a unique approach to increase tournament's outreach.

To increase the attraction of the tournament the members of tournament committee started promoting in the city from today and it will continue till the end of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the price of tickets for the tournament was fixed at Taka 100 for pavilion, and Taka 50 for gallery for the first round group matches. The price will be Taka 200 and Taka 100 for the semifinals while it will be Taka 500 and 300 respectively for the final.

All the teams Shaheen Asmayee FC (Afghanistan), Manang Marshyangdi Club (Nepal), TC Sports Club (Maldives), Pocheon Citizen Football Club (South Korea), FC Alga Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Dhaka Abahani Limited, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and hosts Chittagong Abahani Limited have already arrived in the port city.
