JHENAIDAH, Oct 1, 2023 (BSS) - The Department of Agriculture Extension
(DAE) today distributed agriculture incentives among 450 farmers in Sadar upazila to boost onion production.
 
DAE distributed seed and fertilizer among the farmers of the upazila for cultivating onion.
 
A function was held on the premises of the upazila parishad on the occasion. Upazila Parishad Chairman Rashidur Rahman Russel, Additional Deputy Director of DAE Jahidul Islam Biswas, Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Nur-e-Nabi, Mohila Vice Chairman Aroti Datta and Agriculture Officer Mohammad Junaed Habib, were present, at the function among others.
 
Each of the farmers got one kg onion seed, 20 kgs fertilizers, polythene, rope and fungicide under the Agriculture Incentive Programme.
