CUMILLA, July 2, 2024 (BSS) - Seeds and fertilizer were distributed among the marginal farmers of Chandina upazila in the district today to enhance Ropa Aman production during the Kharif season 2024-2025.

Lawmaker Dr Pran Gopal Datta distributed the incentives among the farmers at a function as the chief guest at the upazila parishad hall room this morning.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jaber Md Shoaib presided over the function. Assistant Land Commissioner Shoummo Chowdhury and Upazila Agriculture Officer Mohammad Morshed Alam were present, among others.

Each of the farmers got five kg of seeds, 10 kg of MOP and 10 kg of DMP fertilizers.
