DHAKA, Dec 4, 2024 (BSS) – The government again will distribute onion seeds among farmers in Madaripur, Gopalganj, Pabna, Rajbari and Faridpur districts.

The Ministry of Agriculture today took the decision at a meeting with Agriculture Adviser Lt. Gen. (retd) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury in the chair.

Agriculture Secretary Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian was present at the meeting held at the agriculture ministry’s conference room.  

Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Upazila Nirbahi Officers of related districts and upazilas, Department of Agricultural Extension and Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation officials, among others, joined the meeting virtually.
