MADRID, Oct 25, 2023 (BSS/AFP) - Banco Santander on Wednesday announced a 20-percent year-on-year rise in its third-quarter net profits to 2.9 billion euros, chalking it up to interest rate rises and a growing customer base.

The amount made between July and September compares with 2.42 billion over the same period in 2022, according to its latest results.
