DHAKA, Nov 1, 2023 (BSS) - The government, over the last two days, has given
permission for importing 49,755 tonnes of potatoes.

The government gave such permission against 77 applications, said a press
release of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Following the permission for allowing import of potatoes given on October 30,
permission for importing 49,755 tonnes of potatoes was given till today.
