BRUSSELS, Feb 10, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - The European Parliament and member states reached agreement early Saturday on the reform of EU budgetary rules aimed at boosting investment while keeping spending under control.

"Deal!," the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU said on social media platform X after the overnight talks. It will still need to be formally approved by MEPs and the 27 states.
