DHAKA, March 7, 2024 (BSS) - National Financial Inclusion Strategy-Administrative Unit ((NFIS-AU) of Bangladesh Bank, in collaboration with Consumer Centrix (CCX), orchestrated the launch event for the 'Women's Financial Inclusion Data (WFID) Dashboard' on Wednesday at a hotel in the city.

By consolidating information from Banks, Finance Companies, Microfinance Entities and Mobile Financial Services Providers, the dashboard shed light on the status of women's financial inclusion in Bangladesh by providing a comprehensive representation of data, said a press release.

Stakeholders including representatives from concerned ministries, regulatory bodies of financial sector, banks, finance companies, microfinance institutions, mobile financial service providers, insurance companies, and quasi-regulatory financial service providers, development partners participated in the event.

Dr Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank, graced the event as the chief guest.

Participants expressed optimism that the dashboard would represent the real time scenario of women's financial inclusion in Bangladesh and serve as a tool for women financial inclusion decision making to promote Women's Financial Inclusion.
