LONDON, March 20, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Britain's annual inflation rate dropped to 3.4 percent in February from 4.0 percent a month earlier, official data showed Wednesday.

Despite the slightly better-than-expected drop and the lowest inflation since September 2021, the rate remains well above the Bank of England's two-percent target.
