LONDON, June 25, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Europe's three major stock markets diverged in opening deals on Tuesday.

London's FTSE 100 index of leading blue-chip companies rose 0.1 percent to reach 8,290.21 points in initial trades.

In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index fell 0.6 percent to 7,662.38 points and Frankfurt's DAX sank 1.0 percent to reach 18,139.02.
