DHAKA, Sept 12, 2024 (BSS) - Four members of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) have received ‘Asia Smart App Awards 2024’.

The Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) of Hong Kong organized the award in Hong Kong where this year Bangladesh made a remarkable impact with four companies receiving the award in various categories, said a BASIS press release today.

The companies were Skylark Soft Limited, Squad Innovators, Shadhin Music Limited and CTrends Software and Services Ltd.  

The release said that Skylark Soft Limited bagged the award in the business and commercial category for their innovative product, “Pro Tracker”, a real-time garment production tracking application that has revolutionized the manufacturing industry.

Squad Innovators was honored in the lifestyle and entertainment category for day planning, a smart app designed to enhance daily scheduling and productivity.

Shadhin Music Limited was recognized in the lifestyle and entertainment category as this music streaming application that offers an extensive and diverse range of music content.
 
In addition, CTrends Software and Services got the award in the public sector and social innovation category for the citizen, an app aimed at improving public sector services and fostering social innovation through its user-friendly platform.

BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed said, "We are incredibly proud of our member companies for their outstanding achievements at the Asia Smart App Awards 2024, and this recognition is a testament to the innovation, dedication, and expertise that our tech industry continues to demonstrate on the global stage.”
