DHAKA, Oct 5, 2024 (BSS) - National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Abdur
Rahman Khan today urged all concerned to follow the compliance issues in all
sectors and thus contributing to more revenue collection and restoring more
discipline in the financial sector.

"We all should discharge our respective duties properly from our respective
positions. We should properly follow the compliance issues in all sectors.
Through these, we can boost revenue collection and thus restore more
discipline in the financial sector," he said.

Rahman, also the Secretary of the Internal Resources Division (IRD), said
this while addressing as special guest at the 11th ICSB National Award 2023
held at a city hotel this evening.

Urging all citizens of the country irrespective of their class and creed to
become vocal over the irregularities and non-compliance issues, the NBR
Chairman said in doing so, it would be possible to build an excellent and
livable Bangladesh.

"If all the citizens pursue compliance, then it will be possible for us to
reach the desired goal" he added.
