DHAKA, Oct 6, 2024 (BSS) - Two market monitoring teams of the Ministry of Commerce today fined seven traders Taka 29 thousands during separate drives in the city.

The teams conducted the drives at New Market Kacha Bazar and Gulshan Kacha Bazar and fined seven traders for several irregularities.

A team led by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Commerce Ministry Md Mehedi Hasan conducted a drive at New Market Kacha Bazar and fined a chicken trader Taka 2000 for not hanging the price list properly and other irregularities.

Another team led by Deputy Secretary Mansurin Khan Chowdhury conducted a drive at Gulsion Kacha Bazar and fined six traders for various irregularities.
