CHATTOGRAM, Oct 23, 2024 (BSS)- Krishak Bazar has launched in Sitakund upazila of the district to help the farmers to sell their products at fair price.

In this market, farmers can directly sell their products to the buyers.

Upazila agriculture office and livestock office jointly started the ‘fair price’ market in front of the municipal building today.

Inaugurating the Krishak Bazar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) KM Rafiqul Islam said the market has been launched to allow the consumers to buy consumable items at fair price.

The administration fixed the price of each product in such a way that the farmers and buyers both are benefitted, he added.
