DHAKA, Nov 21, 2024 (BSS)- The government has approved a proposal in principle for appointing China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company Ltd (CPPEC) as the Operations and Maintenance Contractor on G2G basis for the Installation of Single Point Mooring (SPM).

The approval was given today in a meeting of the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs held at the Cabinet Division conference room at Bangladesh Secretariat with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed in the chair.

Cabinet Division officials said that the Energy and Mineral Resources Division placed the proposal.
