DHAKA, Nov 24, 2024 (BSS) - The National Bank held a strategic review meeting
at the National Bank Training Institute in the capital yesterday focusing on
current and upcoming action plans for the next year.
 
Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, managing director & CEO of the Bank, attended the
meeting as the chief guest, a press release said here today.
 
The Deputy Managing Directors Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Imran Ahmed and Md.
Abdul Matin along with executives, officers from various divisions, and
branch managers were present, among others.

During the meeting, Touhidul Alam provided valuable guidance and outlined
strategic roadmaps on key priorities, including recovering default loans,
addressing the ongoing liquidity crisis, future business planning, deposit
mobilization, loan disbursement and improving customer service excellence.
 
He assured that the liquidity challenges currently facing by the bank would
be resolved soon.

The CEO also discussed the bank's operational strategies, ongoing initiatives
and overall growth trajectory, emphasizing the importance of collective
efforts in driving the bank forward and restoring its former prominence.
