DHAKA, Nov 26, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has hoped that around two lakh employment opportunities will be created after implementation of three projects at Sirajdikhan upazila under Munshiganj district.
The information was revealed today while Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan visited the three projects, said a press release here.
Among others, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Industries Zakia Sultana and senior officials of the ministry and BSCIC were present on the occasion.
BSCIC is establishing three industrial parks – Chemical Industrial Park, Printing Industrial Park and Plastic Industrial Park in Sirajdikhan upazila.
During the visit, Adilur Rahman Khan expressed his satisfaction over the implementation progress of the projects and gave necessary instructions to speed up the work.
After implementation of the projects, he said, chemical godowns of Old Dhaka and, plastic factories and printing industries at various parts of the country will be shifted there.
For this, the working environment of the three industrial sectors will improve, which will also help increase flow of investments, he added.
