DHAKA, Dec 8, 2024 (BSS) - The UCB Investment Limited (UCBIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of United Commercial Bank PLC, has achieved a ground-breaking milestone by securing six prestigious awards at the Finance Asia Achievement Awards 2024.
 
This includes two Best House Awards in the Asia Pacific region, encompassing globally significant markets such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, and more, as well as four Best Deal Awards in South Asia, covering key financial hubs like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
 
This historic achievement underscores UCBIL's consistent performance in its journey towards becoming a global investment bank, said a press release.

UCB Investment won the two "House Awards": Best Islamic Finance House (Winner) and Best Project Finance House (Winner). 

UCB Investment won the three "Best Deal Awards", among all the deals in South Asia, which are Best IPO (Winner), Best Islamic Finance Deal (Winner), Best Private Equity Deal (Winner), and Highly Commended at Best Syndicated Loan Deal category. 

This latest triumph builds on a remarkable track record of accolades that mark UCBIL's rise to prominence. In 2022, UCBIL won 1st Prize in the Merchant Bank category from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
 
The firm then achieved international acclaim in 2023 and 2024, being recognized as the Best Investment Bank by both Euromoney and FinanceAsia. 

Additionally, in 2024, Euromoney also awarded UCBIL as the Best Securities House in Bangladesh, reflecting its leadership across the capital market sector. UCBIL's growing reputation is further paved by numerous accolades from ASIAMONEY, Asset Triple A, and other prestigious organizations.
