DHAKA, Dec 19, 2024 (BSS) - The Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (JBCCI) today hosted a farewell reception in honor of Iwama
Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh.
The event was graced by the presence of Board Members, Past Board Members,
Past Presidents, and High-Officials from the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh.
The program commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Md Emran,
Executive Director.
Following this, the Past Presidents- Matiur Rahman and Salahuddin Kashem Khan
and the Board Members shared their heartfelt thanks and cherished memories of
the Ambassador appreciating his invaluable contributions & supports to JBCCI
and wishing him success in his future endeavors, said a press release.
JBCCI Board members also presented gifts of gratitude to the Ambassador of
Japan. Iwama Kiminori addressed the gathering, reminiscing about his
experiences with JBCCI and emphasizing its pivotal role in strengthening
Japan-Bangladesh business relations.
He expressed his hope for JBCCI's continued growth and vibrancy in the
future. Lastly, Tareq Rafi Bhuiyan (Jun), President of JBCCI appreciated and
expressed gratitude to His Excellency for continuous support to JBCCI.
