RANGPUR, July 17, 2021 (BSS) - The installation cum oath-taking function of the newly elected 19-member biennial executive committee of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) for the 2021-2023 terms was held at RCCI auditorium in the city today.
Chairman of the RCCI Election Board Md Abdur Rahim conducted an oath-taking function, arranged strictly abiding by the health directives in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, of newly elected members of the RCCI executive committee.
Newly elected RCCI President Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu, Senior Vice-president Md Azizul Islam Mintu and Vice-president Manjur Ahmed Azad with other Directors took oath on the occasion.
The newly elected Directors are: Md Mozammel Haque Dambel, Md. Amjad Hossain Chowdhury, Md. Reaz Shaheed Shovan, Md. Shajahan Babu, Partho Bose, Md. Akbar Ali, Md. Motahar Hossain Mandal Mowla, Md. Obaidur Rahman Ratan, Md Zaved Hasan, Md Abu Hena Md Rezaul Karim, Khemchand Somani Rabi, Ajay Prasad Babon, Md. Zulfiquer Aziz Khan Bhutto, Pronoy Banik, Md Sabihul Haque and Representatives' Director Alhaj Mashiur Rahman Ranga.
The newly elected leaders of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) stressed on exploring the prevailing prospect of industrialisation despite the Covid-19 pandemic for creating jobs and promoting business in Rangpur region.
After taking oath, Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu called upon young entrepreneurs to come forward in availing the facilities being provided by the present government for industrialisation to enhance trade and commerce in Rangpur region.
"More steps would be taken to attract both local and foreign investors to promote industrialisation for faster development of Rangpur region during the post Covid-19 pandemic period to attain the sustainable development goals by 2030," he said.
