DHAKA, May 22, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission
(BSEC) has extended the margin loan limit to 100 percent from the existing 80
percent to protect the interest of investors due to the current global
context.

As per the new direction of BSEC, investors now will avail 100 percent loan
(1:1) against their investment, which was 1:0.8 earlier.

The new direction will be effective immediately.
