CHATTOGRAM, June 26, 2022 (BSS) - Reazaul Karim Chowdhury, Mayor of
Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) today announced his second budget of Taka
2161.27 crore for 2022-23 financial year providing detailed data on the
city's past, present and future action plans.

Announcing the budget in presence of CCC ward councilors, officials and
journalists at Theater Institute Chattogram, newly elected Mayor Muktijuddah
Reazaul Karim Chowdhury said that no new tax has been imposed in the budget.

The mayor also declared the revised budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year. The
CCC budget for 2021-22 fiscal year was Taka 2463.96 crore and it was trimmed
to Taka 1,200.57 crore in the revised budget.

CCC chief executive officer Mohammad Shahidul Alam presided over the budget
statement.

CCC Secretary Khaled Mahmood, Chief Revenue Officer Nazrul Islam, Chief
Engineer Rafiqul Islam Manik, Additional Chief Accounting Officer Humayun
Kabir and Ward Councilors were present.
