HABIGANJ, Dec 14, 2022 (BSS) - A total of 250 warm clothes were distributed among the helpless, cold-hit people living in various areas in Sadar upazila of the district today.

The warm clothes were distributed from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Habiganj Relief and Welfare Fund.

Member of Parliament of Habiganj-3 constituency Advocate Md Abu Zahir distributed the clothes at a function held at Habiganj Tennis Ground this afternoon as the chief guest with the president of Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mizanur Rahman Shamim in the chair.

Mayor of Habiganj Municipality Ataur Rahman Selim was present as the special guest.

Junior Vice-President of Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mofizur Rahman Bacchu, its Directors Abdur Rahman and Shankh Shubhra Roy, Habiganj Press Club General Secretary Rashed Ahmed Khan, among others, spoke at the function.

The function was moderated by Senior Vice-President of the Habiganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal.

150 blankets and 100 sweaters were distributed.
