BOGURA, Dec 14, 2022 (BSS) - The Martyred Intellectuals Day-2022 was observed

in the district paying rich tributes to the martyred sons of the soil in a
befitting manner today.

On the occasion, various organisations paid rich tribute at Bogura Central
Shaheed Minar at midnight today.

Marking the day, a discussion was also held in the auditorium of the deputy
commissioner office this morning.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Saiful Islam addressed the function as the chief
guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Samar Kumar Pal in the chair.

Superintendent of Police Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty, Awami League District unit
President Mojibur Rahman Majnu, its General Secretary Ragebul Ahsan Ripu,
Zila Parishad Chairman Dr. Mokbul Hossain, among others, spoke at the
function.

Meanwhile, another discussion, organised by the district Awami League (AL),
was held at the district AL party office.

Marking the day, a three-day photo exhibition based on the Liberation War was
inaugurated at Bogura Police Lines School and College this morning.
